Type of Practice and Experience

General litigation practice with emphasis on civil plaintiff’s claims and criminal defense. Civil litigation experience includes general tort-negligence, wrongful death, civil rights, commercial torts, zoning and land use matters, police misconduct claims, contracts, constitutional claims, defamation (libel and slander), and domestic relations cases. Appellate experience includes over 90 criminal and civil appeals in both state and federal courts. Masters degree program included admiralty claims and studies in Coastal Zone Management and utilization of renewable coastal resources both from administrative and environmental perspectives. Criminal defense experience included misdemeanors and all major felonies in State and Federal courts including capital offenses.
